Engagement
To support the SSR Mining values and culture, VICTOREM was engaged to support the drive to increase Risk Maturity throughout the organisation.
The engagement was broken into phases.
- Produce risk management procedures to support the organisation for both Enterprise Risk Management and Environmental, Health & Safety Risk Management
- Conduct a training needs analysis and produce a training plan to support the ongoing development of the SSR team and its operations and to support the achievement of an increased level of Risk Maturity and Health, Safety & Risk requirements of the organisation.
- Provision of training in alignment with the training plan including courses from the Institute of Risk Management (IRM) and Institute of Operational Risk Management (IOR), to support SSR Mining’s commitment in the area of Enterprise Risk Management & Environmental, Health & Safety Risk Management. This training covers all levels of the SSR Mining hierarchy.
- Provide guidance and support to the organisation for their new Risk Management Information System – IsoMetrix
VICTOREM was engaged by enlisting specialists Ranbury and Slattery to support with the Pre-tender estimate for the project.
Working closely with the TfNSW, Ranbury and Slattery, our team held several risk workshops to understand the threats and opportunities to the project. This information, along with the estimate was to support the provision of the Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA).
Our team successfully achieved this key task within the desired timeframes, allowing TfNSW to move forward fully understanding the risks for the project and the contingency provisions required for successful delivery of the project.
